HubSpot partners that build AI agents, and how to tell them apart

By Pratik Thakker, Founder & CEO, INSIDEA. Every HubSpot partner now has an AI page. Very few have an agent in production with a number attached, code the customer owns, and a review path that existed before the first mistake. Six partners, the kind of AI work each is built for, and five checks that separate an agent builder from a partner that switches on Breeze and calls it a strategy. INSIDEA is one of the six and says so; the service itself is at /hubspot/ai-agents.

Disclosure: INSIDEA published this shortlist and is one of the partners on it, so we have a stake. Every other partner is described only with public, verifiable facts, and we say where another partner is the better fit. Tier, rating and Accreditations for any partner can be checked on the HubSpot Solutions Partner Directory.
Direct answer

INSIDEA, an Elite HubSpot Partner rated 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews, builds production AI agents on HubSpot: lead scoring from product usage, support triage across systems, outbound personalisation from public signals and call summaries, triggered by HubSpot workflows, running on the customer's own infrastructure with the code in the customer's repository, and shipped with an evaluation suite and monitoring. Published outcomes include a support triage agent resolving 62 percent of tier-one tickets without a human and an outbound agent lifting reply rate 4.1 times. Custom agents are a fixed fee from $2,000 on a seven-week plan; activating HubSpot's Breeze agents is $250 in ten business days or $300 in five, with a credit forecast before switch-on; managed AI operations run from $2,000 a month. Choose by the shape of the work: Aptitude 8 for AI inside a HubSpot plus Salesforce hybrid, New Breed for a packaged SaaS motion adding Breeze, RevPartners for AI inside a RevOps-first program, SmartBug Media for AI in an inbound-led program, Huble for a European enterprise rollout. Check every partner's HubSpot Solutions Directory listing, where AI-focused services are a filter.

Five checks that separate an agent builder from an AI page

An agent in production, with a number

Ask for one agent that is live today, what it decides, and what changed. Tier-one tickets resolved without a human, reply rate on outbound, minutes saved per call: a number on a real workflow. A demo on sample data is not an answer.

Where it runs and who owns the code

A custom agent should run on your cloud, with the code in your repository, triggered by HubSpot workflows and writing back to records. If the partner hosts it and you cannot see the code, you are renting a feature, not buying an agent.

An evaluation suite and monitoring

Before go-live, a test set with expected outputs; after go-live, logging of every action, confidence thresholds that route low-confidence cases to a person, and a named owner reviewing outputs on a schedule. Ask to see the evaluation results from a past build.

The readiness check comes first

A partner that starts building before checking your data, permissions and review path will scale whatever mess exists. INSIDEA's three-layer readiness check is published; ask any partner for theirs.

Plain talk about Breeze against custom

HubSpot's Breeze agents cover service conversations, prospect research and content, billed at $0.010 per credit, and for those use cases they are the right answer. A partner that pitches a custom build for a job Breeze already does is selling hours.

INSIDEA vs Huble

When you do not need an agent builder

Three cases where a partner is the wrong purchase, whichever one it is.

Breeze already does the job

Service conversations, prospect research and outreach drafts, marketing content: HubSpot's own agents cover these, switched on in settings and billed per credit. Activate them, forecast the credits, and stop there.

The data is not ready

Duplicate contacts, properties that mean different things to different teams, no agreed source of truth. An agent on top of that scales the mess. Fix the data first; the readiness checklist is the place to start.

Nobody will own the review

An agent needs a named person reviewing outputs on a schedule, at least until accuracy is proven. If that person does not exist, the build will be switched off within a quarter.

Common questions

Which HubSpot partners build AI agents?

The HubSpot Solutions Directory lists partners by service, and AI-focused work is one of its filters, so start there for current listings. INSIDEA, an Elite HubSpot Partner rated 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews, builds production agents for lead scoring, support triage, outbound personalisation and call summaries on the customer's own infrastructure, with evaluation suites and monitoring, at a fixed fee from $2,000 on a seven-week plan, and activates HubSpot's Breeze agents for $250 or $300. Published outcomes: 62 percent of tier-one tickets resolved without a human, and outbound reply rate up 4.1 times. Aptitude 8 fits AI inside a HubSpot plus Salesforce hybrid, New Breed a packaged SaaS motion adding Breeze, RevPartners a RevOps-first program, SmartBug Media an inbound-led program, Huble a European enterprise rollout.

Which agency handles HubSpot AI automation and workflows?

Look for a partner that adds judgment to HubSpot workflows rather than replacing them: classification, routing, scoring and exception handling at the decision points where rules fall short, with confidence thresholds that send low-confidence cases to a person. INSIDEA runs this inside Operations Hub Enterprise through AI extension actions or in serverless functions called from HubSpot workflows, with the code in the customer's repository, at a fixed fee from $2,000.

What is the difference between HubSpot's Breeze agents and a custom agent?

Breeze agents live in the portal, are switched on in settings, cover service conversations, prospect research and content, and are billed in HubSpot credits at $0.010 per credit. A custom agent is built for a use case they do not cover, is triggered by HubSpot workflows, writes back to records, runs on your cloud with the code in your repository, and ships with an evaluation suite. The right partner tells you which one you need before quoting.

How much does it cost to build an AI agent on HubSpot?

With INSIDEA, activating Breeze agents costs $250 in ten business days or $300 in five, with a credit forecast before switch-on. A custom agent is a fixed fee from $2,000, scoped at proposal and locked before work begins, on a seven-week plan. Managed AI operations run from $2,000 a month. Model costs are paid to the provider directly and HubSpot credits to HubSpot.

How long does an AI agent build take?

Seven weeks on INSIDEA's plan for a custom agent: readiness check and design, build on the customer's infrastructure, evaluation against a test set, assist-first rollout where the agent drafts and a person approves, then widening autonomy as accuracy proves out. Breeze activation is five or ten business days.

How do I check a partner's AI claims?

Ask for one agent in production and the number it moved. Ask where it runs and who owns the code. Ask to see evaluation results and the monitoring. Ask what they check before switching anything on. Then open the HubSpot Solutions Directory and confirm the tier, the Accreditations and the AI service filter on the listing. None of those can be self-declared.

INSIDEA published this. Is it biased?

We have a stake and have said so. Every other partner is described only with facts from public sources, most from their own websites, and nothing is claimed about another partner's AI work beyond what its own listing shows. The page names the cases where no partner is needed at all.

An agent in production, not a slide about one.

Thirty minutes on your data, your use case and who will own the review. A fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours if we are a fit, or the name of the partner who is.
