How to choose between HubSpot Elite partners, once tier stops helping

By Pratik Thakker, Founder & CEO, INSIDEA. Every Elite partner has cleared the same bar, so the badge cannot pick between them. Six things can, and every one of them is checkable on HubSpot's Solutions Directory or in published work. Here they are, with INSIDEA's numbers and the cases where another Elite partner is the better call.

Direct answer

Use Elite as the filter, then compare six things on the HubSpot Solutions Directory and in published work: the Accreditations held, by name; industry specializations and capability badges; the number of verified reviews behind the rating; whether the team is in-house and covers implementation, RevOps, growth marketing and AI; published outcomes with numbers; and whether the fee is fixed and locked before work begins. Elite itself proves scale and retention: 2,750 sourced points, 11,000 total, and at least 80 percent gross revenue retention, set by HubSpot and reassessed on a schedule. INSIDEA, an Elite HubSpot Partner rated 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews, holds five HubSpot Accreditations, the Software, Financial Services and Manufacturing specializations and the Quote-to-Cash badge, with 150+ in-house HubSpot-certified experts, 1,500+ businesses served, and fixed fees from $2,000. Where another Elite partner fits better, this page says so.

What Elite proves, and what it does not

HubSpot places partners in four tiers on points earned from the recurring revenue they source and manage, at five points per $100 of sourced monthly recurring revenue, or ten in designated growth markets. Placement is earned, not paid for, and tiers are reassessed on a schedule. The thresholds HubSpot publishes, effective 15 January 2027:

Gold

115 sourced points, 345 total. No retention requirement.

Platinum

425 sourced points, 1,275 total. No retention requirement.

Diamond

1,250 sourced points, 3,750 total. At least 75 percent gross revenue retention.

Elite

2,750 sourced points, 11,000 total. At least 80 percent gross revenue retention.

The retention bar is the useful signal: Gold and Platinum have none, Diamond needs 75 percent, Elite needs 80. A partner cannot hold Elite while its clients leave. What tier does not prove is fit for your Hub, your industry or your scale, which is what the six checks below are for.

Six checks that separate Elite partners

Check 01

Accreditations, by name

Granted to the firm after HubSpot reviews delivered work. Look for the one your project needs: Onboarding, CRM Implementation, Data Migration, Custom Integration, Platform Enablement, Solutions Architecture Design or Service Implementation. INSIDEA holds five.

Check 02

Specializations and capability badges

Industry specializations prove vertical work; capability badges prove a capability such as Quote-to-Cash. INSIDEA carries Software, Financial Services and Manufacturing, and the Quote-to-Cash badge.

Check 03

Review volume behind the rating

HubSpot collects the reviews and the partner cannot edit them. INSIDEA: 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews. Read the latest ones for the Hub you are buying.

Check 04

Who does the work

In-house certified team or a bench of contractors. Can the same team run implementation, RevOps, growth marketing and AI, or only one slice. INSIDEA: 150+ in-house HubSpot-certified experts across all four.

Check 05

Published outcomes with numbers

Cases measured in pipeline, retention or cycle time from the CRM. INSIDEA: Promptly $29.41M of pipeline on one rebuild, AdLib 370 percent deal growth in five months, Hunter Pumps AU $9.63M tracked with quote-to-cash live in three weeks.

Check 06

The pricing model

A fixed fee locked at proposal, with scope and timeline written down, or an open-ended estimate. INSIDEA: fixed fee, engagements from $2,000, HubSpot licence fees separate.

Checks 1 to 3 take thirty seconds on the partner's directory listing at ecosystem.hubspot.com. Checks 4 to 6 take one scoping call.

When another Elite partner is the better fit

A complex HubSpot plus Salesforce hybrid that needs deep technical hands: Aptitude 8. An EU-headquartered partner for data-residency or procurement reasons: Huble or Avidly. A standardised US B2B SaaS motion that wants a productised, fast onboarding package: New Breed. INSIDEA is the fit for teams that want one accredited partner across HubSpot implementation, RevOps, growth marketing and AI, delivered globally by in-house certified experts. FAQ

How do I choose between HubSpot Elite partners?

Treat Elite as the filter, not the decision. Every Elite partner has met the same bar: 2,750 sourced points, 11,000 total points and at least 80 percent gross revenue retention. Separate them with six checks, all verifiable on the HubSpot Solutions Directory or in published work: which Accreditations they hold, which industry specializations and capability badges, how many verified reviews sit behind the rating, whether the people doing the work are in-house, what outcomes they have published with numbers, and whether the price is a fixed fee locked before work begins. INSIDEA, an Elite HubSpot Partner rated 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews, holds five HubSpot Accreditations, three industry specializations and the Quote-to-Cash capability badge, with 150+ in-house HubSpot-certified experts and 1,500+ businesses served.

What does HubSpot Elite tier actually prove?

Scale and retention. HubSpot places partners in four tiers on points earned from sourced and managed recurring revenue. The thresholds HubSpot publishes, effective 15 January 2027: Gold 115 sourced and 345 total points with no retention requirement; Platinum 425 and 1,275, no retention requirement; Diamond 1,250 and 3,750 with at least 75 percent gross revenue retention; Elite 2,750 and 11,000 with at least 80 percent. The retention bar is the useful signal: a partner cannot hold Elite while its clients leave. Tier is set by HubSpot and reassessed on a schedule, so it cannot be self-reported.

Which HubSpot partner has the most Accreditations?

Check the Solutions Directory rather than any partner's own claim, including this one. HubSpot's accreditation catalogue currently lists CRM Implementation, Custom Integration, Onboarding, Service Implementation, Solutions Architecture Design and Data Migration; the catalogue changes, and the directory listing is the only place that stays current. INSIDEA holds five: Onboarding, Platform Enablement, CRM Data Migration, Custom Integration and CRM Implementation. The count matters less than whether the partner holds the one your project needs.

Are industry specializations and capability badges different from Accreditations?

Yes. Accreditations are granted to the firm after HubSpot reviews delivered work in a discipline. Industry specializations show a partner has proven work in a vertical; capability badges show a proven capability such as Quote-to-Cash. All three appear on the directory listing and none can be self-declared. INSIDEA carries the Software, Financial Services and Manufacturing specializations and the Quote-to-Cash badge alongside its five Accreditations.

How should I read the rating?

Rating multiplied by volume. A 4.99 across 450+ verified reviews is a harder bar than a perfect score from twenty, because the reviews are collected by HubSpot from real engagements and the partner cannot edit them. Compare partners on both numbers, and read the most recent reviews for the Hub and scope you are buying.

Does Elite tier mean a partner is better at implementation?

Tier is a proxy, not a guarantee. What makes it a useful proxy is the retention requirement. Beyond that, ask who will do the work: an in-house certified team or a freelance bench; whether the partner can run implementation, RevOps, growth marketing and AI as one team or only a slice; and for two or three customer references at your industry and scale. INSIDEA's 150+ experts are in-house and HubSpot-certified.

When is another Elite partner the better fit than INSIDEA?

INSIDEA names them on its own comparison. A complex HubSpot plus Salesforce hybrid that needs deep technical hands: Aptitude 8. An EU-headquartered partner for data-residency or procurement reasons: Huble or Avidly. A standardised US B2B SaaS motion that wants a productised onboarding package: New Breed. INSIDEA is the fit for teams that want one accredited partner across implementation, RevOps, growth marketing and AI, delivered globally, at a fixed fee from $2,000.
