HubSpot onboarding, tuned to your motion not their script.

HubSpot's standard onboarding is generic and self-service-leaning. Ours is hands-on, role-specific, and built around how your team actually sells, markets, and supports. Most teams reach productivity 4 to 6 weeks faster with our onboarding versus HubSpot's.

The honest read

When onboarding with us fits, and when it truly doesn't.

HubSpot's free onboarding works for for small teams. We're not the right fit for everyone. Below is the honest read.

Right fit when

  • You have 5+ users to onboard and want consistent quality across all of them.
  • Your sales motion is non-trivial. Generic training won't cover what your team actually needs.
  • You want recorded curriculum hosted in HubSpot Knowledge Base for future hires.
  • Sales, marketing, and service all need onboarding and you want one provider doing it.
  • You're switching from another CRM and the team needs hand-holding through 'where is X' moments.

Wrong fit when

  • You have fewer than 5 users and HubSpot's standard onboarding is included with your subscription.
  • Your team is highly technical and self-teaches from documentation faster than from training sessions.
  • Your sales motion is so simple (e.g., one-product, one-stage transactional) that custom training is overkill.
  • You only need product training, not strategy or motion-tuning. HubSpot's certifications are free and excellent.
Curriculum

What our onboarding actually covers.

We split onboarding into role-specific tracks. AEs need different training than marketers, who need different training than admins. Below is the structure.

AE TRACK

Sales reps + leadership

Pipeline management, sequences, scoring, forecasting, lifecycle stages, deal pipeline navigation. Tuned to your motion, not the textbook.

CORE · MARKETING TRACK

Campaign managers + marketing leads

Lifecycle, scoring, segmentation, campaign attribution, A/B testing, AI-assisted content. Marketing-led onboarding with Sales-aware overlap.

ADMIN TRACK

RevOps + ops admins

Workflow architecture, custom property hygiene, integration troubleshooting, AI-extension actions, programmable workflows where applicable.

Methodology

From kickoff to first team that doesn't ask Slack questions.

Six steps. Same approach used on every engagement above. Built to ramp users to productivity fast, then deepen mastery as the team grows.

01

Discovery

Two sessions with leadership. Team composition, current tools, motion specifics, knowledge gaps, success criteria. Output: role-specific curriculum plan with timeline.

02

Curriculum

Role-specific syllabi: AE track (sales-focused), marketing track (campaign-focused), admin track (architecture-focused), service track (support-focused). Designed before delivered. You sign off.

03

Live sessions

60-90 minute live training sessions per role, recorded. Hands-on exercises in your HubSpot environment. Q&A baked in. Most teams see 90%+ engagement in live sessions.

04

Recorded curriculum

Sessions edited and uploaded to HubSpot Knowledge Base with timestamps and quiz questions. New hires walk through this asynchronously without burning training time.

05

Office hours

Weekly 30-min office hours for 8 weeks post-launch. Anyone on the team can drop in with questions. Most questions get answered in 2-5 minutes by senior team.

06

Certification

Optional certification for power users. Hand-graded by senior team. Certified users typically become internal champions and reduce future training cost.

Things people ask

Things people ask.

How is this different from HubSpot's free onboarding?+

HubSpot's onboarding is product-feature-focused and generic across customer types. Ours is motion-specific: we ask how your team sells, then teach HubSpot in that context. Most teams reach productivity 4 to 6 weeks faster because the training matches their actual day-to-day.

Can we onboard alongside an implementation engagement?+

Yes. Most of our customers do this. Onboarding runs in the last 2 to 3 weeks of implementation. By the time the platform goes live, the team is already trained on the configuration that's about to ship.

Do you train just admins, or end users too?+

Both. Onboarding is priced per Hub, from $2,000 for Professional and from $4,000 for Enterprise, and covers both admin and end-user tracks. We split the tracks so each role gets relevant content without sitting through irrelevant material.

What if our team is global?+

We run multi-region cohorts with sessions in friendly time zones. Recorded curriculum makes async learning easier. Multi-language onboarding is available on Enterprise engagements. Most global teams pair live sessions for senior people with async curriculum for the broader org.

Can we have new hires walk through onboarding asynchronously?+

Yes. Recorded curriculum lives in HubSpot Knowledge Base permanently. New hires walk through it self-paced. Most teams report new-hire ramp time drops 30 to 50% within the first year of having this library.

What's certification?+

Optional add-on for power users. After the core curriculum, certification candidates complete a graded project (real business scenario, hands-on in HubSpot). Hand-graded by senior team. Certified users typically become internal champions and reduce future training cost.

Do you offer ongoing managed admin?+

Yes. Managed-operations retainers start at $2,000/month and scale with scope. Most teams pair admin-led managed ops with end-user training during onboarding, so the team isn't dependent on the partner long-term.

How do we get started?+

Book a 30-minute strategy call. We'll cover your team size, sales motion, and the highest-leverage onboarding approach. Proposal within 48 hours if we're a fit.
