GTM software pricing index

What 44 go to market tools actually cost. Every figure below was read from the vendor’s own pricing page, dated and sourced. Everything they decline to publish is listed too, because a reference you can trust is one that admits what it does not know.

What the data shows

A quarter of this category will not tell you what it costs

25of 42

publish a usable entry price with the volume it applies to

11of 42

publish no figure anywhere, only a contact sales form

6of 25

advertise an annual rate and never publish the monthly one

20of 44

offer a free tier, though most cap it below any real workload

Opacity is not evenly spread. In sales engagement and intelligence, four of seven vendors publish nothing at all. In support and service, six of seven publish a real entry price. The difference is not product complexity, it is who the buyer is.

The annual-only pattern matters more than it looks. Across the 7 vendors that publish both frequencies, paying monthly costs between 16 and 186 percent more than the advertised annual rate, with a median of 32 percent. The 6 vendors that publish annual only are quoting their lowest possible number.

All seven support vendors now meter AI separately from seats, charging per resolution rather than per user. Four publish that rate, from $0.05 to $0.99 per resolution. Zendesk, Gorgias, and HubSpot include the feature and leave the meter unlabelled.

Questions people ask

Software pricing, answered directly

Every answer below is calculated from the table above, so it moves when the table moves.

Which go to market tools do not publish their pricing?

11 of the 42 tools still sold standalone publish no figure anywhere: Marketo Engage, Braze, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Gong, Gorgias, Segment, Workato, Hightouch, Qualified. Several name their tiers and list their features in full while omitting every price, which is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.

What is the cheapest CRM with published pricing?

Of everything in this index with a published entry price, HubSpot Service Hub is the lowest at $7 per seat per month. Read that alongside the billing frequency, because several of the cheapest headline figures are annual-only rates.

Why is software pricing so hard to compare?

Because the unit differs. Some vendors charge per seat, some per contact, some per profile, some per task or per credit, and a few per resolved conversation. A price without its unit is not a price, which is why every figure in this index carries the volume it applies to.

How much more does paying monthly cost than paying annually?

Across the 7 vendors here that publish both frequencies, paying monthly costs between 16 and 186 percent more than the advertised annual rate, with a median of 32 percent. A further 6 vendors publish the annual rate and never show the monthly one, so their headline figure is the lowest number they are able to print.

How current is this pricing index?

Every figure was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 3 August 2026. It is re-verified quarterly and the next check is 2 November 2026. If you are reading this after that date and the header has not moved, treat it as stale.

Can I quote these prices in my own article?

Yes. Quote any figure here with attribution and a link, so your readers can check the date and go to the vendor's own page themselves. If you would like the underlying data as a spreadsheet, ask and we will send it.

Methodology

How this was built, and where it can be wrong

Every figure was read from the vendor’s own pricing page on 3 August 2026. No aggregator, no reseller, no comparison site, and no “average cost” article was used as a source at any point. Where a vendor publishes nothing, we record that rather than filling the gap with someone else’s estimate.

A price without its unit is not a price, so every figure here carries the seat, contact, profile, task, or ticket volume it applies to. This is the part most comparisons skip, and it is why two tools that both say “$19” can differ by an order of magnitude in what you actually pay.

Four products, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Apollo.io, and Intercom, render their figures through a client-side calculator that our current check could not read back. Their numbers here were verified on 31 July 2026 while building our reviews of those products, and are marked as such on the row. Everything else carries the 3 August 2026 date.

Promotional rates are never presented as list prices. Where the only visible figure is a promotion, as with Mailchimp, the row says so and the list price is recorded as unverified.

Two known limits. First, vendors serve different prices by geography and by segment, and at least one vendor in this index runs live price experiments, so your quote may differ from ours. Second, this is a snapshot. It is re-verified quarterly and the next check is 2 November 2026. If you are reading this after that date and the header has not moved, treat it as stale.

We implement several of these products for clients and hold an Elite partnership with HubSpot, which is disclosed on every row where it applies through a link to our review. That relationship shapes which tools we know well. It does not change what a vendor prints on its own pricing page, which is all this index reports.
