Your Customer Agent is already there. Let's switch it on.
Most Customer Agent trials stall in the same place: nobody scoped the use case, approved the knowledge, or worked out what the credits would cost. We do all three and get one real use case live, in as little as a week.
How do I update the billing contact on our subscription?
A billing user can change billing contacts under Account & Billing. The exact controls depend on your subscription and permissions.
Illustrative example. Resolution is evaluated 72 hours after the last visitor response.
An activation service, not an implementation
There is no hub to build here. You already have Service Hub, a connected channel, and Customer Agent in the portal. What is missing is a use case worth automating, knowledge the agent is allowed to answer from, a tested handoff, and a credible answer to what it will cost to run. That is the whole job.
Nothing new to buy
You already hold Customer Agent. This activates what is sitting in your portal, so there is no hub build and no new licence in the way.
Live in days, not months
From kickoff to a live agent in 5 or 10 business days. You watch it answer real questions before you sign off.
Credits forecast before you switch on
You see a predicted consumption range for an agreed starting cohort, then the actual number 24 hours later. No guessing.
Six steps, and step four is the one most trials never reach
A stalled trial is almost never a product problem. It is a customer who was left at the planning stage without a number they trusted. So the sequence ends in activation and evidence, not a proposal.
- 01
Reassure on the controls
Review-before-sending, restricted topics, a bounded cohort, and a named human on every exception. We show the protections before we show the forecast.
- 02
Show the predicted consumption
A credit range for your specific starting point, checked against the pool you already hold, so the number is yours and not a generic estimate.
- 03
Agree a sensible first cohort
One use case, one channel, a defined slice of work. Small enough to be safe, real enough to be worth reading.
- 04The step trials miss
Activate, rather than stop at planning
The step most trials never reach. We activate on the scope you approved, with your named approver on record.
- 05
Review actual usage at 24 hours
Predicted credits against billed credits, plus the output, escalations, and gaps from the first day. Adjust or stop, on evidence.
- 06
Run a week, then decide how far
Long enough to see return rather than theory. At day 7 we reconcile what it produced against what it consumed, and you choose whether to widen it.
Two tracks, same outcome
Same core deliverables on both tracks; the Standard track also fixes the content gaps the answer test finds. Choose the speed that fits your team, or switch to Compare view to see the differences.

One-page summary
A perfect fit if
- You started a Customer Agent trial and it stalled before it was really switched on
- You are live but the agent handles a trickle, and credit usage never moved
- One recurring support job with a clear, agreed right answer
- Help content that already exists and is approved for customers to read
- Someone named who owns the escalations the agent cannot handle
What needs to be true
- Customer Agent already available on your account, in trial or dormant
- A named admin available for the kickoff call and responsive throughout
- One eligible text-based channel already connected, live chat or a shared inbox
- Existing help content approved for customer-facing use
- A named handoff owner with working hours and routing agreed
- Enough HubSpot credits for the agreed starting cohort, and agreement on the run limit we set
What's not included
This is deliberately one job done properly, so the timeline and the price stay fixed. Anything beyond it is quoted separately rather than bundled in quietly.
- HubSpot subscriptions, seats, or credits
- Service Hub implementation or help desk setup
- Full CRM or help desk migration
- Writing your help content from scratch
- More than one use case or channel
- Custom agent actions or integrations
- Voice or multilingual deployment
- Multi-brand or multi-region rollout
- Ongoing support after the day 7 review
- A guaranteed deflection rate or ROI
Need a Service Hub build underneath it? That is a full onboarding engagement, priced on our HubSpot onboarding pricing.
What you walk away with
Customer Agent actually live
Answering one bounded use case from knowledge you approved, not sitting in trial.
30 questions tested
Common, ambiguous, sensitive, and out-of-scope, with the answer and its source recorded.
Approved knowledge set
Every source the agent may answer from, plus a written list of the gaps.
Human handoff tested
Escalation topics, routing, owner, and the visitor-facing message, all proven before go-live.
Credit forecast, then the real number
A predicted range before activation and reconciled usage at 24 hours and day 7.

What was activated, what it costs to run, and what to expand next.
The boundaries, in plain language
Our Customer Agent trial stalled. Is that a fit?
That is the main case this is built for. Most stalled trials are not a product problem, they are an activation problem: nobody scoped a use case, approved the knowledge, tested the answers, or forecast the credits. We do those four things and then switch it on.
Do we need a Service Hub implementation first?
No. This is a standalone activation service. It assumes you already have Service Hub and one connected text channel, which you do if Customer Agent is available on your account. If a hub build really is missing, that is a separate onboarding engagement and we will tell you so at the readiness check rather than bill it into this.
How are HubSpot credits counted?
HubSpot's product catalog lists 50 credits for one resolved Customer Agent conversation on text-based channels, which HubSpot prices at $0.50. Resolution is evaluated and locked 72 hours after the last visitor response, so early activity and settled usage are never the same number. Two details catch teams out. A conversation counts as resolved when the agent shared a source or performed an action and no visitor-initiated handoff happened inside that window, so your rep quietly picking the conversation up does not stop it counting. And once the 72 hours pass, later messages or negative feedback do not change the status.
Can you cap what we spend on credits?
Not as a hard ceiling, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling. HubSpot provides a monthly agent run limit and shows estimated credit costs in its agent builder, but it states those estimates can vary from actual cost, and there is no automatic shutoff. What we can do is size the starting cohort so the exposure is small and knowable, set the run limit with you, and check real billed usage at 24 hours rather than at the end of the month.
How is this different from the Prospecting Agent Kickstart?
Customer Agent handles customer-facing service conversations and is usually already in your portal, so this is an activation service. Prospecting Agent researches leads and drafts sales outreach, and that engagement includes standing up Sales Hub Pro. Different audiences, different safeguards, different credit events.
Do you guarantee a deflection rate?
No. We get one use case live, tested, and measured in days. Deflection depends on your content, your volume, and the questions your customers actually ask, so we show you what the agent does rather than promise a number.
