INSIDEA designed this homepage for a quick-turn PCB assembly shop. Viaforge is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

Design notes

A San Jose shop that assembles prototype circuit boards for hardware startups in five business days, and a homepage that prices a run in seconds: solder mask green, pale mint, component gold and light green, a technical display face and an instant quote with a parts check.

The brief

Hardware teams iterate fast and lose days waiting on quotes and missing parts. Show the price for their layers and quantity, the ship date and which parts are out of stock in the first screen.

The direction

Solder mask green, with pale mint type, component gold and a technical display face. The hero panel is a live quote for a 4-layer board at 100 units, with a line-by-line total, three lead-time options and a BOM check that flags 4 parts.

The detail

$320 for boards, $240 for setup and $680 for placement make the $1,240 total, or $12.40 a board, and the 3-day option at +35% is the $1,674 shown. The page claims 96.4% shipped on or before the quoted day, not every run.
