The brief
Most people tools look like payroll. Make onboarding, time off and team pulse feel friendly without making the product look like a toy.
The direction
Cream with peach, lilac and butter, plum for text and buttons, big radii and hard offset shadows. The playfulness sits in the shapes; the product cards stay dense and real.
The detail
The onboarding card shows 7 of 12 tasks done and a 58% bar, and the time-off balance works out: 20 days, minus 8.5 taken and 1.5 requested, leaves 10.
