Long spans, light structures.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a long-span and mass timber structural engineer. Spanforge Structural is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A structural engineering firm for long-span steel, mass timber and hybrid buildings that lets architects browse its work by system, span and sector: a graphite drafting-table canvas, blueprint white linework, laser green and cool gray, a monospace display and a filterable project map.
The brief
Architects choosing a structural engineer want to see work in the system and span they need, not a generic portfolio. Show projects filterable by structural system, span and sector, with real numbers, in the first screen.
The direction
A drafting table at night, with graphite backgrounds, white linework and laser-green highlights set in a monospace face. The hero is a project map with filters for system, clear span and sector, where each pin opens a project with its section and key figures.
The detail
The 17 timber, 13 steel and 8 hybrid projects add to the 38 issued this year, and the 5, 4 and 3 featured projects by system make the map's 12. Outside its nine licensed states, the page says it works through a local engineer of record instead of claiming it can sign off anywhere.
