Design controls from the first sketch.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a medical device engineering studio. Quenmark Device Design is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A medical device engineering studio that writes the design history file as the work happens: warm paper, graphite, putty and leaf green, a sharp modern serif display face and a live design history file panel for a handheld spirometer program.
The brief
Device teams dread reaching a submission and finding their design records have to be rebuilt from memory. Show a real program's phase, record counts and trace matrix in the first screen, so the file reads as current.
The direction
Technical and calm, like a lab notebook: warm paper, graphite and putty with leaf green for progress, under a sharp serif. The hero panel tracks one program through six phases, with records done against planned, the design history file total and today's trace matrix.
The detail
The verification records of 6, 9, 33 and 3 make the 51 done of 88 planned, which leaves the 37 to close before Gate 4, and 161 closed plus 51 so far make the 212 records, 68% of 310. The page says outright that it does not file the 510(k): the client's regulatory lead owns the submission.
