From raw land to approved site plan.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a civil engineering and land survey firm. Platline Civil is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A civil engineering firm that takes land development projects from survey and site plan through permits, with a homepage drawn like a topo map: deep forest green, pale contour green, survey-flag pink and cream type, a rounded geometric display and an entitlement tracker that lists each permit for a sample parcel with its status and next date.
The brief
Developers lose months waiting on county reviews they cannot see, and often learn a comment was due only after it is late. The first screen must show every permit on one parcel, where it stands and the next date that matters.
The direction
A topo map, with a deep forest ground, contour green lines and survey-flag pink for dates. The hero tracker shows a 42.6-acre, 148-lot parcel with five permits, each with its agency, status and next date, over a timeline to a January approval target.
The detail
The survey runs $340 an acre, so 42.6 acres is $14,484, and the four recent projects of 7.2, 18.4, 61.0 and 55.8 acres total 142.4 with a 25-week median. Asked to guarantee approval, the page says no one can promise what a planning commission will decide.
