Smoked low and slow for your crowd.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a barbecue caterer that smokes on site. Pitwell Smokehouse Catering is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A barbecue caterer that tows a smoker to backyard parties, reunions and company picnics, with a butcher-paper bold homepage: kraft tan, char black, ember orange and hickory brown, heavy wood-type capitals and a party estimator that turns guest count into pounds of meat, sides, crew and a package price.
The brief
Hosts planning a big party cannot tell how much meat to order or what a caterer will really charge until after a phone call. The first screen must turn a guest count into pounds, sides, crew and a firm package price.
The direction
Butcher-paper bold, with kraft tan, char black and ember orange, set in heavy wood-type capitals. The hero estimator sets 60 guests on the $19 package and shows the meat by the pound, the sides, the crew and the deposit split.
The detail
60 guests at 0.6 lb is 36 lb, split 20 lb brisket and 16 lb pork, and 60 at $19 is $1,140, a $285 deposit plus $855 on the day. The page admits the briskets start on its own yard pit at 2:00 a.m., so not everything is smoked on your lawn.
