It is never too late to read.

INSIDEA designed this homepage for an adult literacy nonprofit. Pagewright Literacy is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

Design notes

An adult literacy nonprofit written for readers who may struggle with text: paper, ink, deep teal and clay, a classic book serif.

The brief

Adults who struggle to read will not wade through a dense page to find a class. Use plain words, big targets and their own language.

The direction

Warm and literary, with a classic book serif. The hero finds free classes by what you want to learn, your level, your times and where, with a separate path for volunteer tutors.

The detail

Every class and seat count comes from one table of 20 classes, the welcome reads in English, Spanish and Chinese, and Listen buttons fall back politely when speech is off.
