Eye exams and frames worth wearing.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for an optometrist with a frame boutique. Irisford Eye Studio is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

An independent optometrist in Providence with a gallery wall of frames that books exams and shows every frame in stock: gallery white, ink black, lacquer red and warm oak, a high-fashion Didone serif and a frame browser beside an exam slot picker.
The brief
People put off eye exams because they expect to be rushed, then find frame shopping limited to a few drawers. The first screen has to show the exam price and open times next to how many frames are really in stock.
The direction
A gallery boutique: white walls, ink type, lacquer red and oak accents, with a high-contrast Didone serif. The hero is a frame wall browser filtered by shape, size, color and material with stock counts, beside an exam book with open slots for the week.
The detail
The six shapes of 168, 142, 118, 96, 70 and 46 frames add to 640, as do the five frame houses' 164, 142, 128, 112 and 94; six exams a day Tuesday to Friday plus four on Saturday make the 28 weekly slots. The page says plainly that it is not for eye emergencies and to call 911.
