Strength training after forty, in small groups.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a strength studio for adults over forty. Grayplate Strength Studio is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A small-group strength studio for adults over forty that starts every member with a free week: warm stone, charcoal ink and a muted rust, a sturdy newspaper serif and a class board showing each session's coach, focus and spots left.
The brief
People over forty worry about walking into a gym full of young lifters and getting no attention or getting hurt. The first screen has to show small classes, a coach for each one, what the session works on and how to try it for free.
The direction
Grown-up and calm: stone backgrounds, charcoal type and rust accents, with a sturdy newspaper serif for headings. The hero is a class board for the week of Nov 2 with open spots per day and Tuesday's four classes, each with its coach, focus and spots left out of six.
The detail
The week's 7 Hinge and Squat, 8 Press and Pull and 7 Carry and Balance classes make 22, and the coaches' 7, 7 and 8 classes match; 22 classes of six give the 132 places behind 19 of 132 open. The page says plainly that the coaches are not clinicians and that classes are coached exercise, not medical care.
