Freelance taxes, minus the panic.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a tax prep service for freelancers. Gigfile Tax is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A tax prep service for freelancers and creators that files the return and keeps them ready for all four estimated payments: a light lilac canvas, deep plum type, tangerine and mint, a bouncy hand-drawn display face and a client's tax desk with deadlines, set-aside and documents.
The brief
Freelance income arrives in lumps while the tax on it is due four times a year, so people either scramble in January or guess what they owe. The first screen has to show the next payment date, how much is already set aside and what is still missing for the return.
The direction
A sticker sheet look: lilac canvas, plum type and bright tangerine and mint tags, with a hand-drawn display face. The hero is one photographer's tax desk with three of four quarterly payments paid, the $2,650 Q4 payment due Jan 15, a set-aside tracker and a document checklist at 6 of 8.
The detail
The $11,240 set-aside is 25% of the $44,960 paid so far, split into $7,950 already paid as Q1 to Q3 and $3,290 in the pot, and the pot covers the $2,650 Q4 payment with $640 left. The page says plainly that Gigfile does not pay the IRS for you, and calls its plan prices starting prices.
