Class A training in seven weeks.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a commercial truck driving school. Gearline CDL School is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A truck driving school in Kearlow, Nebraska that trains Class A and Class B CDL students in four to seven weeks: diesel black, hi-vis yellow, steel grey and white, tall compressed gothic capitals and a side-by-side program board.
The brief
Future drivers need to know how long training takes, how much time they get in a real truck, what it costs and when the next class starts. The first screen has to compare Class A and Class B on those points, with open seats.
The direction
Heavy-duty dark, with black and coal panels, hi-vis yellow accents and tall condensed capitals. The hero is a program board comparing hours by type, tuition, deposits, next start dates and seats left for each class.
The detail
Class A's 40 theory, 104 range, 112 road and 24 test prep hours add to 280, and its $600 deposit plus two payments of $2,800 makes $6,200; 186 of 214 graduates is the 87% first-try pass rate. The page never promises a job: offers are between you and the carrier.
