INSIDEA designed this homepage for a sliding-scale community yoga studio. Bendbank Community Yoga is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A community yoga and pilates studio with pay-what-fits pricing that wants every budget to book a class: sunflower, deep green, tomato and sky blue, a handwritten playful display face and a price picker that shows who covers each spot.
The brief
People on a tight week skip class rather than ask for a discount, and people who can pay more want to know where it goes. Show the five price choices, what a spot costs and the week's classes in the first screen.
The direction
Hand-made and warm, with a playful handwritten face in green on a sunflower canvas. The hero is a price picker from $8 to $25 with a bar that splits the $16 cost of a spot into what you pay, what the shared fund covers and what you add to it.
The detail
September's 1,160 spots at $16 cost $18,560, the same as teacher pay, rent, mats and insurance of $10,440, $4,640, $2,320 and $1,160, against $18,580 paid in, which leaves the $20 the fund grew. The page asks for no proof of need: no forms, no questions, and teachers never see what anyone paid.
