Banking for the business down the block.
INSIDEA designed this homepage for a community bank for small businesses. Bayrow Business Bank is a fictional brand, so the names, people and numbers on the page are invented.

A community bank that wants small business owners to compare three checking accounts and open one online: warm paper, harbor navy, brick red and a soft teal, a friendly old-style serif and a calculator that prices each account at your volume.
The brief
Owners can't tell which checking account is cheapest until a busy month shows them the fees. Show the three accounts priced at their own volume, plus what it takes to open one online, in the first screen.
The direction
Main street and friendly, with an old-style serif in navy on warm paper. The hero is a cost calculator with sliders for transactions and cash deposits and a balance toggle that prices all three accounts, beside a four-step opening checklist.
The detail
Essentials includes 200 transactions and then charges $0.50 each, so 30 extra cost $15, the same as Corner Shop's monthly fee, which is why the page's rule of thumb switches accounts above 230 transactions. The page hedges with a dated fee schedule and a line that accounts are subject to approval.
